COVID - 19 UPDATE

Pins and 4 year certificates from the 2020 Symphonic Band have been mailed to directors.  We anticipate that they will arrive by the end of the week.  Please be patient with the directors as they distribute the pins and certificates to both their current students, as well as those students who graduated in June.

As we continue to navigate the current pandemic, the All Shore Band Directors Association would like to provide a few updates for the students, parents, and directors of All Shore.

​

• We are currently working on pin and four year certificate distribution from the 2019 symphonic band concert. Currently, we are in the process of collecting pins.  Once we get them, we will send them to each band director, who will then distribute them to current and now former students.  We will update this section once we mail them to the band directors.

• The All Shore Marching Band Festival will be held this year for directors who want to participate.  The purpose of the marching band festival has always been to showcase the talent which exists in our bands.  While we can’t do this live, we can certainly still do it virtually and have a similar experience. Since we are doing it virtually, and bands do not need to worry about traveling, we are going to have marching band festival run in two phases.  This will give bands a second opportunity later in the season to show each other what they have accomplished during the season.

• In addition to the marching band festival, the All Shore Band Directors are actively and eagerly devising plans to have both the jazz and symphonic band auditions.  As more information is available, it will be posted here.
